Job Title:           Upholstery Production Manager

Salary:               R65 000.00 pm + Staff Accommodation + Air Ticket + Leave + 

                           Medical based on current package

Position Type:   One (1) year Contract

​

Minimum Requirements: 

• Grade 12 

• AutoCAD 

• CNC experience 

• 5 to 10 years’ experience as a Upholstery Production Manager in the Furniture Manufacturing Industry 

• Preferred Age Group Mid 30’s upwards 

• Must have an excellent mathematical ability 

• Experience in exotic wood 

• Must Speak, Read and Write English 

• Excellent references 

• No Criminal Record

Job Details: 

• Translate designs into technical specifications 

• Research physical resources needs, recommend and make purchases 

• Analyse input, research and identify strategic needs and allocate resources appropriately 

• Advise directors and design on schedules, budgets and overall feasibility of 

       production determining staff needs 

• Develop, monitor and enforce production schedules 

• Monitor builds and production for safety and accuracy 

• Provide supervision to all production areas 

• Hire develop and manage the performance of staff, ensure staff are compliant with policies and procedures 

• Prepare and administer operations, personnel and capital budgets 

• Establish depreciation schedule for equipment replacement 

• Collaborate with other members of the production team to assure the timelines and needs are met.
