Requirements:

• National Certificate (Medical Technician - Clinical Pathology)

• HPCSA registration as Medical Technician (Clinical Pathology)

• 18 months experiential learning as a Learner Technician within a pathology environment (Clinical Pathology)

• Understanding of pathology test procedures.

• Knowledge of instrumentation and methodologies.

• Knowledge of Quality Control.

• Basic knowledge of MS Windows

• Basic knowledge of Excel

• Basic knowledge of MS Word

• Computer skills

• Communication skills

• Numerical reasoning skills
