Position:                       Area Manager

Location:                      Gauteng, KZN & Western Cape


  • R25 000.00 - 30 000.00 Cost to company market related dependent on experience.

  • Performance Bonus paid (up to full 13th cheque)

  • Percentage on Medical Aid contribution

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Educational level: Tertiary qualification at university with a commercial qualification (BComm. or related preferred)

  • Experience: At least 5 years in a retail operations role (NOT NEGOTIABLE)

  • Driver’s License

Main purpose of Job Spec:

Area Manager is to assist the Regional Operations Managers in doing the following:

  • To ensure that franchisees follow the Companies system at all times thereby remaining “On Brand” in all aspects of the business.

  • Assist & advise the franchisees how to maximize profits annually.

  • Strive at all times to maintain relationships of the highest accord with franchisees, and promote in every possible way the maintenance of a participative and positiveenvironment within the Companies community

  • Assist and advise the franchisees how to control and protect their assets and resources, i.e. Fixtures, stock, cash and staff.

  • To represent the companies interest’s at all times, in fair dealing with the franchisees, their staff, customers and fellow work colleagues.

  • Identify problem or under-performing areas in the stores, discuss these with the franchisee, and assist in drawing up suitable action plans to restore or improve profitability.
